McKenzie Bauer is known for co-founding Thread Wallets in 2015 with her husband, Colby, a business specializing in carry accessories sold online and at retail outlets across the USA.
Based in Provo, Utah, McKenzie's primary focus within the company was on marketing and as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) until early 2021, when she transitioned to pursue personal projects and dedicate more time to her family.
During her tenure as the CMO, Thread Wallets experienced significant growth, being recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in Utah and appearing on the INC. 500 list twice.
McKenzie Bauer is passionate about women's equality and advocating for the betterment of minority communities in Utah.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Cultural Studies and Peacebuilding from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, and also attended Timpview High School.
Apart from her entrepreneurial ventures, McKenzie has served as an Adjunct Professor and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
