Amanda Arizola is the North Texas Program Officer at Asset Funders Network (AFN), where she leads initiatives focused on economic security, healthcare, and literacy in the region. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has held significant roles that include Vice President of Finance and Operations at Philanthropy Southwest, where she managed operations during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Assistant Director for the Dallas Community Tax Centers, overseeing substantial tax assistance efforts that returned over $124 million to local residents.1
She holds a dual Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Health Systems Management (MHSM) from Texas Woman's University, as well as a bachelor's degree in Government and Mexican-American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Amanda is recognized for her leadership in nonprofit governance and community advocacy, and she has been involved in various initiatives, including co-founding CoACT North Texas, which promotes innovation in nonprofit organizations.1
In addition to her professional roles, Amanda has been appointed as the first Latina to serve on the Tarrant County Hospital District Board of Managers and actively participates in community advisory boards, including KERA/KXT and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.1
