Maykel Loomans

Maykel Loomans is a prominent designer and digital product builder with a diverse professional background.

He currently serves as the Principal Designer at BrexHQ and is the mastermind behind shoebox.photo, a digital project he is building.

Maykel Loomans has a strong belief in social issues, as evidenced by his support for the Black Lives Matter movement and his advocacy for wearing masks to combat the spread of diseases.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Communication and Multimedia Design from Hogeschool Zuyd, with locations in Maastricht, Heerlen, and Sittard.

Throughout his career, Maykel has held pivotal roles in several renowned organizations such as Glossier, Inc. where he was the Head of Product & Design, and at tech giants like Facebook and Instagram.

His creative expertise also led him to work as a Product Designer at miekd and as a Creative Director at Airglow Studios.
