Mayer Cherem

Mayer Cherem is an accomplished professional, currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Investments at PAAMCO Prisma, a prominent global investment firm known for its multi-strategy, multi-PM approach.

With an extensive background in finance, Mayer began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1999 before moving on to hold key roles within various organizations, including the Cisneros Group of Companies.

Mayer's educational achievements include an MBA from Columbia Business School and an Engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar, where he showcased his talent by winning the first prize in a National Physics Olympiad.

Throughout his career, Mayer has demonstrated a passion for risk-taking and actively contributes to the investment strategies of PAAMCO Prisma through his involvement in the Molecule and FoF Investment Committees.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mayer has also dedicated his time to serving as a trustee on non-profit organizations focused on education, showcasing his commitment to giving back to the community.
