Maya Sawla is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in strategy, consulting, and product management.

Maya graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology, Markets & Management, and Spanish from Duke University. Additionally, she studied as a Junior at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and completed her High School education at The Hockaday School.

With a solid educational foundation, Maya went on to hold various key positions in renowned organizations. She currently serves as the Director of Strategy (Extern) at Upstream USA, where she plays a vital role in shaping strategic initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Maya garnered invaluable experience as a Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, and Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, a globally recognized management consulting firm. Her time at Bain & Company equipped her with expertise in problem-solving, data analysis, and client management.

Maya also has experience in product management, having served as a Product Intern at Sageworks. This role allowed her to delve into the intricacies of product development and optimization.

She has served as an Agent at Duke Launch, where she likely honed her entrepreneurial skills, and as a Community Consultant at Social Entrepreneur Corps, showcasing her dedication to making a positive difference in underserved communities.
