Maya Gat

Maya Gat is an experienced teacher turned entrepreneur who co-founded Branching Minds, an educational technology company that addresses the challenges teachers face in supporting students with diverse needs. After completing an MSed in Early Childhood and Childhood Education at Sarah Lawrence College, Maya taught at the Bronx Community Charter School and the Red Apple Child Development Center. She also has a background in curriculum editing, private instruction, and project management. Besides her work at Branching Minds, Maya is an active member of Chief, a women’s executive network dedicated to supporting women leaders. Maya's goal is to transform education by using technology and research, helping teachers deliver top-quality instruction and students with special needs receive the right support.
