Maxeme Tuchman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Caribu, an interactive video-calling platform facilitating virtual playdates for kids with family and friends. Caribu has received various accolades, including being named one of Apple's Best Apps of 2020 and one of TIME Magazine's Best Inventions.
Prior to Caribu, Max served as a senior policy advisor and White House Fellow at the U.S. Department of the Treasury under President Obama, focusing on financial inclusion and student loans. She also led Teach For America Miami-Dade as Executive Director, managing operations and securing substantial support for teachers and alumni.
Max's diverse career includes co-creating the NYC Civic Corps in Mayor Bloomberg's office, managing impactful projects like The NYC Waterfalls art installation, and teaching as a Teach For America corps member in inner-city Miami.
She has been recognized for her work, named as a Toyota Mother of Invention, Female Tech Leader of the Year, and one of Inc. Magazine's Top 100 Female Founders. Maxeme holds degrees from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and New College of Florida.
