Max Lee
Associate Software Engineer @ Veeva Systems
Max Lee is a driven and accomplished bioengineering and electrical engineering and computer science student at UC Berkeley's College of Engineering with a passion for entrepreneurship and computational biology. Lee has a keen interest in bioinformatics and has conducted research in the field, specifically on the GDF-11 protein. Additionally, he co-founded a nonprofit organization in high school that raised funds for underprivileged elementary school students' music education through jazz performances. Lee also completed Draper University's Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship course and founded a blockchain club at Harker, his former high school. Currently, Lee is a member of Berkeley iGEM's computational biology project team, where he is using NLP software to develop chemical data extraction. Lee's future endeavors include starting his own company and pursuing a certificate in entrepreneurship and technology from the Sutardja Center. He can be reached at maxlee@berkeley.edu.
