Max Heino
Co-founder at Mjuk
Max Heino is a co-founder and CEO of Mjuk, a Finnish furniture re-commerce company.23 He started Mjuk in 2019 with his co-founder Rickard Zilliacus, initially testing the idea by buying and selling second-hand furniture themselves.3 Max is also a master's student at Hanken, studying Finance as his major.1 During his studies, he has gained experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, and Private Equity.1
In addition to his work at Mjuk, Max has been recognized for his efforts in promoting sustainable consumption. In February 2020, he was the first recipient of the Fazer Award, which is given to students who demonstrate good academic performance and work on issues such as equality, sustainable development, and socially responsible practices.1
Max is also involved in other activities at Hanken, serving as a member of the board at Hankinvest, which aims to help Hanken students form and reach their career goals.1
