Max Friedman is a Social Work graduate student at LSU with a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from UC Santa Cruz and a high school education from Galileo Academy of Science and Technology.
Currently an incoming Psychiatric Social Work Intern, Max has a wide range of interests including child/adolescent development, autism spectrum disorders, disability rights & inclusion, emotional memory, evolutionary theory, psychology, history, philosophy, religion, game theory, labor rights, risk management, and clinical hypnosis.
Max has a diverse background with prior academic and professional experiences in Earth Sciences, Educational Design, Public Outreach, GIS, Software QA, LiDAR Photogrammetry, Autonomous Vehicle Operations, and Sales.
While exploring various fields, Max found his passion lies in behavioral health practice, which he aims to pursue with the skills and experiences gained from his previous roles.
