Mauricio 马龙

Mauricio Romero, also known as 马龙, is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and a Certificate in International Cuisine from the same institution.

To further enhance his expertise, he pursued an International Master in Hospitality Management at EADA - Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración.

Mauricio has a rich experience working in various capacities within the hospitality industry, including roles at The Venice Raytour Hotel Shenzhen and Interlaken OCT Hotel Shenzhen.

His professional journey includes stints as an Assistant Director, Food and Beverage Manager, F&B Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, and F&B Sales and Promotion Manager, among others.

Noteworthy highlights of his career involve serving as an Ecuadorian Guest Chef at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group - Grand Lapa, Macau, and as a Lecturer at UDLA Quito.

In addition to his corporate roles, Mauricio has also been involved in entrepreneurial ventures, such as owning GASTRO TRUCKS, "La 10 al Grill" Food Truck Concept, and managing "Zona Chili" Restaurant in Quito, Ecuador.

His diverse background encompasses international experiences, including working in Italy and Macau, showcasing his adaptability and global perspective in the hospitality industry.
