Mauricio Guarnieri

Mauricio Guarnieri has over 10 years of experience in photovoltaic system projects, specializing in team formation and engineering department structuring across various corporate settings and project sizes.

He has been actively involved in the turnkey implementation of renewable energy projects for multinational companies since the early stages of the solar market in Brazil.

Mauricio possesses extensive knowledge in civil and electrical projects for large power plants, energy modeling, technical solution development, and integration.

His mindset is geared towards improvement and innovation strategies, currently spearheading the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in his company and focusing his doctoral research on energy storage and electric mobility.

His educational background includes a Doctorate degree in Photovoltaic Systems, Energy Storage, and Electric Mobility, a specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation from California State University, Northridge, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Solar Photovoltaic Systems, and a degree in Environmental and Sanitation Engineering, all from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.

Mauricio Guarnieri currently holds the position of Technology Development Manager at ARAXÁ SOLAR, and has previously been a Part Owner at Vanti Inteligência, Engineering Manager at ARAXÁ SOLAR, Technical Assistant at APUAMA Engenharia, and Assistant Researcher at Fotovoltaica UFSC.
