Maurice Mitchell, MDiv, is a compassionate individual with a strong commitment to supporting at-risk populations and providing hope and encouragement.
With a background in Theology, Christian Ministry, and Chaplaincy, Maurice has dedicated years to working in mental health organizations, such as Advent Home Learning Center, Miracle Meadows, Parkridge Valley Hospital, and Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he has positively impacted the lives of adolescents facing various challenges.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Andrews University and has pursued additional education in Mental Health Counseling. Maurice's diverse experience includes roles as a chaplain at Kettering Hospital, Meritus Medical Center, and Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he excels in written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
With a skill set that includes strong communication, organization, time management, and teamwork abilities, Maurice is known for his ethics, reliability, diligence, and sincerity. His belief in the power of teamwork to accomplish goals makes him a valuable asset in any setting.
In addition to his chaplaincy work, Maurice has served in various capacities, including as a substitute teacher, youth mentor, business consultant, psychological test monitor, and president and founder of Hope for African Youth.
