Maureen Sakakeeny

Maureen Sakakeeny, a civil engineer and business management expert, has made her mark in the fields of environmental consulting, education, and engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Boston University.

Sakakeeny's professional experience includes serving as a consultant and co-owner at Sak Environmental LLC, where she specializes in environmental consulting and engineering. She was also an Assistant Dean of Science and Engineering at Merrimack College, where she taught and led the development of the department, and was involved in strengthening community partnerships. She previously worked at Jacobs, where she was a Project Engineer and Manager, as well as at AECOM, where she served as an Engineer and Senior Engineer.

In addition to her consulting work, Sakakeeny has held academic positions at Tufts University, where she served as Director of External Relations and Internships, and as an Adjunct Lecturer. Her extensive experience in environmental engineering and education make her a valuable contributor to the profession.
