Maureen Ferry, M.Ed

Maureen Ferry, M.Ed, is a dedicated Middle School Principal in Brooklyn with a passion for education and a diverse set of interests including yoga, running, dancing, and dreaming. She goes by the pronouns she/her/hers.

Maureen Ferry pursued her education at San Jose State University where she graduated with a Master's degree in Education Leadership and Supervision. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology at the University of Michigan.

Having a rich professional background, Maureen Ferry has held various roles in different organizations. She was the Founder and Lead Consultant at Maureen Ferry Consulting, LLC. She also served as an Educational Leadership Consultant, Principal, and Academic Director at Explore Schools. Her experience extends to positions such as Managing Director, Fellowships and Experiences at Teach For America, Director of Training and Student Impact at Teach For India, and Managing Director of Institute Program Design at Teach For America. She also had teaching roles at KIPP Public Schools Northern California and ALUM ROCK UNION ELEM SCHOOL DISTRICT as a 7th-grade math and social justice teacher.
