Maureen Downey is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in alternative asset investing, fintech, and structured finance solutions. She currently holds the position of Managing Director, Underwriting at The Beneficient Company Group (Ben), where she drives the development and execution of proprietary valuation and risk management models for liquidity solutions across a broad range of alternative assets.13
Prior to joining Beneficient, Downey served as Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, and Head of New Product Development at Sharespost100 fund.1 She has also held senior investment roles at Pantheon Ventures and Goldman Sachs.12 Her career spans over 17 years, during which she has sourced and executed over $2 billion in secondary, co-investments, and direct investments across various asset classes in developed and emerging markets.
