Maureen Esther Achieng, a dedicated female African Tech entrepreneur from Nairobi, Kenya, is a multi-talented individual involved in various roles within the tech industry. Maureen is also a Google Women Techmakers ambassador, where she mentors and inspires women to enter the tech field, supported by Google. She is the founder and former head of No Code Apps, Inc., an Ed-tech company based in the US, focusing on training non-tech entrepreneurs worldwide in building apps and websites without coding. Maureen is actively involved in training entrepreneurs in app development using the Maven platform. Her achievements include building apps and websites without code, authoring two books in the No code space sold globally, and speaking at international events about the power of No code. She has trained numerous SMEs in Kenya on No code app development. Maureen's work has been featured in various media outlets like CIO, NTV, Business Daily, and more, sharing insights on building apps using No Code. Despite being a college dropout, Maureen studied HR at Moi University and worked as a sales executive at Mercedes Benz before venturing into the tech industry. Passionate about technology, she loves building and automating with No code tools. Besides her tech pursuits, Maureen finds joy in yoga, kizomba, writing, and philanthropy. She runs two foundations focused on supporting children with cerebral palsy, like her brother Charlie, and promoting tech entrepreneurship and financial literacy among African youth. She is driven by a strong sense of purpose to help others break into tech and scale her tech company to fund projects like providing hydrogen water for children with cerebral palsy.
