Maura Flight is a professional specializing in ecosystem service valuation, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory impact analysis, and regional economic impact analysis in various fields such as air quality regulation, conservation planning, renewable energy, water resources, and species and habitat management.
She has worked with a range of Federal Agency Clients including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bonneville Power Administration.
Additionally, Maura has collaborated with State Agency Clients such as the MA Division of Ecological Restoration, DE Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, WA Department of Natural Resources, and California Energy Commission.
Her expertise extends to NGOs as well, having worked with organizations like The Nature Conservancy, Environmental Defense Fund, along with regional conservation groups and watershed associations.
Academically, Maura Flight holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Currently, she serves as the Principal at Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) and has previously held positions as a Senior Associate and Associate at IEc. Furthermore, she gained experience as an Intern Economist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
