With a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and an Executive Programme in General Management from INSEAD, Matthieu has been instrumental in developing and promoting several innovative medical technologies, many of which were world-firsts.
Matthieu's career spans across various companies, from start-ups to Blue Chips. He started as a Marketing Manager at Nellcor Puritan-Bennett in 1991, and his expertise and skills helped him climb the corporate ladder, leading to executive roles at various companies like Mallinckrodt, Clinical Cell Culture, and Smiths Medical.
As VP of Sales and Marketing at Clinical Cell Culture, he played a crucial role in the development of an autologous cell harvesting device for epidermis reconstruction. As VP of Global Marketing at Smiths Medical, he helped develop an Ultrasound-visible embryo-transfer catheter. These are just two examples of the many groundbreaking products that he was instrumental in developing over the years.
In addition to his business acumen, Matthieu has a passion for innovative medical technology. To deepen his understanding of the market needs, he is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business, Marketing, and Enterprise at the University of Hertfordshire.
Currently, Matthieu is the CEO at Therapixel, a fast-growing medical technology company that has developed an artificial intelligence-powered imaging solution for cancer treatment. Through his leadership, the company is poised for continued growth and success.
