Matthew Zimo

Matthew Zimo is an accomplished information professional skilled in database development, information retrieval, and machine learning. He was honored as the Time Magazine Person of the Year in 2006. Matthew pursued his education by obtaining a Master of Science in Information Science with a focus on Database Development from UNC School of Information and Library Science. Additionally, he holds a BA in Russian from Reed College and has studied Digital Film at Northwest Film Center School of Film. Moreover, he acquired a Career Certificate in SQL and Oracle Database Management from Portland Community College.

Throughout his career, Matthew has held various roles including Data Analyst at North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech), Web Administrator, and Library Intern at the same institution.
