Matthew (Matt) Weinberg is a Partner at Max Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund based in New York City that primarily invests in digital commerce and digital healthcare startups across the United States and Europe.1234

Prior to joining Max Ventures in 2018, Weinberg served as a White House appointee in the Obama Administration, where he helped drive over $6 billion in federal funding to early-stage technology startups, investment funds, accelerators and incubators across the country as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Investment and Innovation.236

At Max Ventures, Weinberg has led several key investments and is the Co-founder of Elion Health, an independent digital health solutions marketplace.14 The firm's unique mix of investing and incubation allows them to be valuable partners for startups navigating the earliest stages of company building.4
