    Matthew Tynes is a dedicated individual excelling both academically and athletically. He is a D League Fellow for the MAP Foundation and an accomplished Sophomore Defensive Back for the Harvard Crimson Football Team originating from New Castle, Delaware. His academic focus lies in Government with a secondary interest in African and African American Studies. Maintaining an impressive 3.75 GPA at Harvard, Matthew has displayed leadership qualities as a team captain in basketball, football, and track and field.

    During his high school years, Matthew garnered numerous accolades in sports, including shattering a 42-year-old record in the triple jump and long jump championship, along with leading the state in interceptions. Beyond his athletic pursuits, he is actively involved in the Black Men’s Forum at Harvard. Currently, he serves as a performance coach intern at Titus Sports Academy within the Philadelphia 76ers Field house, with aspirations to become an NBA GM post his playing career. Matthew's journey has been marked by resilience, fueled by his knack for overcoming adversity and adapting to challenges.
