Matthew Smith is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Embr Labs, a Boston-based technology startup known for its patented wearable thermal technology.12 He has been with the company since its founding in June 2013 and has held various leadership roles, including Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) from January 2016 to September 2022, before transitioning to his current CTO position.2
