Matthew Sloan is an experienced commercial litigator with a focus on complex business disputes, creditors' rights, Surety & Fidelity, bankruptcy, construction law, real estate disputes, and construction defects.

He represents individuals, businesses, institutional creditors, sureties, and contractors in various legal proceedings, including state, federal, and bankruptcy court actions, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.

Mr. Sloan assists lenders and lessors in maximizing recoveries from distressed properties and non-performing loans and leases through foreclosure of real property collateral, litigating deficiency claims, and recovering personal property collateral.

He is adept at negotiating short sales, forbearance agreements, and deeds in lieu to benefit clients.

In the realm of construction law, Mr. Sloan handles complex commercial matters, including the resolution of performance and payment bond claims, differing site conditions, lost productivity, acceleration, termination, and construction delay claims.

His educational background includes a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
