He is an alum of the United States Army Military Police School, Campaign Management School, Political Public Relations, and holds Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice from both Grand Canyon University and Marymount University.

Matthew's professional experiences entail a diverse range of roles: Strategic Congressional Initiatives at Philips, Director and Assistant Director of Legislative Division at The American Legion, Campaign Management College at Republican National Committee, Government Relations (Federal & State) at U.S. English, Inc., Judicial and Congressional internships, Social Media Director at a Congressional campaign besides being a Military Police Officer for the U.S. Army.
