His prior experiences include working with multinational peacekeeping forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Afghanistan, where he honed his skills in delivering innovative solutions and managing rapid growth in challenging environments.

Educationally, Matthew pursued a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Information Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and a Network Systems Technology Diploma in Information Technology at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
