Matthew Roche is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in program management, data architecture, software development, training, and mentoring within the Microsoft data platform and developer ecosystem for over twenty years.

Currently serving as the Principal Program Manager on the Microsoft Cloud & AI team, Matthew plays a crucial role in shaping the features and strategic direction of Microsoft Business Intelligence, Data Governance, and Information Management products and services.

Before joining Microsoft in 2008, Matthew was recognized as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for SQL Server and holds an extensive array of certifications including Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, and Oracle Certified Professional.

Matthew Roche pursued his education in Computer Science at the State University Of New York College At Oswego and has held various key roles throughout his career at Microsoft and other organizations, including positions such as Principal Program Manager Lead, Senior Program Manager, Data Architect, and Chief Software Architect.

His professional journey also includes roles like Senior Software Engineer, Managing Principal Consultant, and Principal Trainer/Vice President of Training, showcasing his broad expertise and leadership in the tech industry.
