Matthew Nurse

Matthew Nurse is an accomplished professional in the fields of biomechanics, kinesiology, and engineering. He studied Biomechanics - Medical Science and Kinesiology - Biomechanics at the University of Calgary, where he also worked as a researcher and an instructor.

Nurse went on to hold various positions at Nike, including Vice President of the Nike Explore Team Sport Research Lab and Director of the Nike Sport Research Lab. He was responsible for spearheading innovation and managing R&D for the company's sports-related products. His extensive knowledge of motion capture and analysis as well as his expertise in afferent sensory feedback, EMG, and novel pressure measurement, among other things, made him a valuable asset to the team.

Nurse is a leader, a communicator, and a forward-thinker. He believes that innovation is nurtured by allowing people to take risks and giving them the tools they need to succeed. He is passionate about his work and understands the importance of allowing for organic growth and development in order to reach the next big breakthrough in research and product creation.
