Matthew Miller
Partner at Vianovo
Matthew Miller is a seasoned communications strategist and political operative with extensive experience in government and public affairs. He joined Vianovo as a partner in September 2011 and served in that role until April 2023.1 At Vianovo, Miller worked as a communications strategist, advisor, and crisis counselor to business and political leaders.2
Prior to his time at Vianovo, Miller held several high-profile positions in government and politics:
- Director of the Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice (February 2009 - July 2011)1
- Communications Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (February 2007 - February 2009)1
- Communications Director for U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (March 2005 - February 2007)1
Miller has also worked on presidential campaigns, including as Florida Communications Director for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign.1
In April 2023, Miller left Vianovo to become the Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, a position he currently holds.13
