Matthew Milford, Co-Founder of Arche

Matthew Milford is the Co-Founder of Arche, a venture studio focused on building the next generation of behavioral healthcare companies.2 He previously attended UC Berkeley to study engineering and computer science before dropping out to co-found Foresight Mental Health.2

At Foresight Mental Health, Milford served as Co-CEO and successfully grew the company into one of the largest outpatient mental healthcare providers in the US.2 Some of his accomplishments at Foresight include:

• Expanding the company to over $50M in annual recurring revenue (ARR)
• Contracting with 100+ health plans
• Raising over $100M in venture capital from investors including Sequoia

Prior to co-founding Arche, Milford gained valuable experience working on various projects such as:

• Sending an experiment to the International Space Station while leading the mechanical team1
• Creating a 3D BioPrinter that extruded living plant stem cells at BioCurious1
• Winning a gold medal at the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition for engineering yeast to produce narwhal cheese1
