Matthew Levey

Matthew Levey is the founder of a successful and diverse elementary school catering to over 400 students in grades K-5.

He was instrumental in all aspects of establishing the school, from recruiting students and staff to managing back-office systems, handling media and government relations, and acquiring real estate.

Under his leadership, 80% of students in the school meet or exceed internal reading benchmarks, and 3rd-grade state test performance surpasses city and district averages.

Matthew Levey holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from The George Washington University.

He currently serves as the Executive Director and Founder of the International Charter School of New York.
