Originated and executed real estate investments for a regionally focused team within a $5B private equity fund, specialized in direct
equity investments and the asset management of value add properties located across the western U.S. Responsible for sourcing potential
investments, underwriting/modeling new acquisitions, asset level due diligence, and investor reporting for new and legacy transactions.
• Evaluated and executed 9 value-add investments totaling over $600M in value across office, multifamily, and retail properties in the western
U.S. Supported the refinancing of 6 vintage deals totaling $250M in total debt proceeds.
• Developed and implemented a portfolio-wide reforecast underwriting analysis to model actual investment performance vs. pro forma
assumptions of an $850M fund of various real estate investments. Analysis included actualizing property level cash flows, a reforecast
of future cash flows, and identification of potential risks and/or opportunities on an investment and portfolio level.
• Presented results of the reforecast analysis to a 10-member Investment Committee and defined strategies for future portfolio investments and
for maximizing value in the existing portfolio.

•	Performed credit and underwriting analysis to model loan losses/timing on $67 B+ of mortgages securitized in 60+ vintage deals in conjunction with Rialto’s investments in CMBS, CDOs, sub-performing whole-loan pools and other CRE debt products
•	Underwrote €139MM distressed multifamily portfolio comprised of 49 properties located in Madrid and Barcelona. Duties included underwriting and preparing offering and financing memoranda.
•	Prepared presentation and underwrote $20.8MM joint-venture opportunity for 425,000 SF office/flex property located in Troy, MI. Prepared valuation using sales comparables, precedent transactions and DCF.
•	Supported the acquisition of 15 new issue b-pieces, representing a $500MM investment. Duties included developing loss/timing projections on underlying collateral, creating/managing macro-enabled data tapes/memos and interacting with loan sellers.
•	Underwrote 40+ loans on various property types totaling $100MM in appraised value.

•	Supported the Real Estate group on buy-side M&A, strategic advisory mandates, portfolio asset sales, debt and equity financings; responsibilities included preparing client presentations, market research, valuation analyses, and financial modeling.
•	Advised client on a $2 B+ joint-venture for a 3.2MM SF mixed-use development in Washington D.C. Created a financial model that included a pro forma analysis of the office, residential, retail and hotel components of the project. Performed a sensitivity analysis related to the hotel component and its competitive set using STR reports, local supply pipeline, demand trends, occupancy rates, and competitors marketed rates.
