Matthew Gallaugher

Matthew Gallaugher is the Director of Technology for WSP's digital team with over 13 years of experience in building, designing, and managing complex digital projects.

He leads a team of 60 engineers in Australia, specializing in software, geospatial, visualisation, data science, platform engineering, and digital engineering for a variety of industries.

Matthew's projects have covered areas such as intelligent transport systems, road enforcement solutions, gaming, manufacturing, government, and retail, with a global reach including Europe, North America, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.

His expertise in computer vision-based product management enables him to transform research and ideas into commercially valuable solutions.

Matthew completed his education at Yarra Valley Grammar and holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechatronics and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne.

Aside from his current role as Director of Technology at WSP in Australia, Matthew has held positions such as Director of Strategic Projects - Digital, Delivery Manager - Digital at WSP, and various roles at SenSen Networks and NICTA.
