Matthew F. "Matt" Light

Matt Light is a retired American football player, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. He played as a left tackle for the New England Patriots for eleven seasons and was a three-time Super Bowl champion. He was also selected to three Pro Bowls and was a two-time All-Pro.

Light grew up in Ohio and played college football at Purdue University, where he was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection. In 2001, he was drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the NFL Draft. He quickly became a key player on the team's offensive line, helping to protect quarterback Tom Brady and earning a reputation as one of the best tackles in the league.

Off the field, Light has been active in philanthropy and entrepreneurship. He founded the Light Foundation in 2001, which provides opportunities for children to learn life skills and values through outdoor activities. He has also launched several successful businesses, including a food and beverage company and an outdoor sporting goods company.
