Matthew Dowdle is a highly skilled civil engineer and manager with over 22 years of experience in designing and managing civil infrastructure and land development projects. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Matthew excels at managing day-to-day operations for the Land Development Department at D.R. Horton in Nashville. He oversees all aspects of residential subdivision land development activities, ensuring the timely delivery of lots to their home building construction team. Additionally, he has extensive experience in mixed-use and urban infill development, traditional neighborhood developments, commercial site development, and utility infrastructure design.
Before working at D.R. Horton, Matthew was the Land Manager and Project Manager at PulteGroup, Vice President of Civil Engineering at Southern Land Company, a Project Engineer at Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Inc., and an Environmental Scientist at Pickering, Inc.
