Matthew Chartier

Matthew Chartier is a Senior Software Engineer with nearly a decade of experience in building software services and scalable systems at major corporations like Microsoft and Amazon as well as startups like Bright Machines and Condorcet.

As a Full-Stack Developer, Matthew has worked on a diverse range of projects, from low-level system code to client-side scripts, contributing to Windows security features, Bing search experience, Alexa Messaging services, and real-time driver development tools for industrial robots.

Matthew's exceptional communication and organizational skills were demonstrated through leadership roles at Harvard, where he managed a teaching staff for the course CS50 and led Model United Nations conferences in multiple countries.

With a passion for software development, Matthew actively engages in independent projects during his free time, focusing on websites, Alexa skills, and mobile apps.

Matthew Chartier pursued his AB in Computer Science from Harvard University and completed his high school education at Beekmantown High School.

Throughout his career, Matthew held various roles including Software Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Meta, Senior Software Engineer at Bright Machines, Cofounder at Condorcet, Software Engineer at Amazon, and Software Development Engineer positions at both Microsoft and as an intern at Microsoft. He also served as Head Teaching Fellow and Teaching Fellow at Harvard University.
