Matthew Campbell

Matthew Campbell is the Artistic Director at Denver Film, a position he has held since November 2019. He has over a decade of experience in the film industry, where he has taken on various roles that reflect his passion for cinema and independent filmmaking. Prior to his current role, Campbell served as the Senior Programmer at the Denver Film Society for nearly 11 years, from May 2009 to November 2019. His earlier positions include Publications Production Manager at the Sundance Film Festival and Publications/Materials Coordinator at Film Independent, showcasing his extensive background in film programming and production management.123

Campbell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities with a focus on Film Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, which he completed between 2005 and 2008.12 His commitment to promoting independent cinema is evident in his work at Denver Film, where he aims to bring diverse and engaging films to audiences in Denver.1
