Matthew Benge

Matthew Benge is an Actuarial Science and Finance student at The Ohio State University with a strong educational background in both Finance and Actuarial Science.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Actuarial Science from The Ohio State University.

Before his academic pursuits, Matthew attended Downers Grove North High School where he laid the foundation for his future achievements.

In terms of professional experience, Matthew has taken on various roles in different organizations, showcasing his diverse skill set and adaptability.

He served as an Actuarial Intern at Humana, gaining valuable industry experience and knowledge in the field.

Matthew also has experience working in the sports industry, having been a Visiting Locker Room Attendant at the prestigious Chicago Bears organization.

His early career included participation as an Early ID Participant at Humana, highlighting his proactive approach to personal and professional development.

In addition to his corporate roles, Matthew has a background in aquatics, having worked as a Lifeguard at both Pool Watch Inc. and Downers Grove Swim & Racquet Club.

He further displayed his leadership skills by taking on the role of Swim Coach at Downers Grove Swim & Racquet Club, where he mentored aspiring swimmers.

Matthew's experience in managing aquatic facilities is evident through his tenure as Pool Manager at Maple Hill Recreation Corp, where he oversaw operations and ensured safety standards were met.

His dedication to water safety also extended to roles as a Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor at Maple Hill Recreation Corp, showcasing his commitment to promoting safe swimming practices.
