Matthew Barberio

Dr. Matthew Barberio is a distinguished professional with a strong educational background in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. He completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Fairmont State University, followed by a Master of Education (MEd) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Exercise Physiology at Auburn University.

Currently, Dr. Barberio serves as an Assistant Professor at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health. Prior to this role, he held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Children's National Health System, a Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Children's National Health System, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University.

Dr. Barberio's expertise and research interests lie in the fields of Kinesiology, Exercise Science, and Exercise Physiology. His academic journey and various roles in reputable organizations showcase his commitment to advancing public health through education and research.
