His diverse professional experience includes roles such as Research Associate at Monash University, Senior Research Assistant at Yunus Centre Griffith University, Program Consultant at Charitable Recycling Australia, and Executive Director at Zero Waste Network Australia, showcasing his expertise in nonprofit and social enterprise management.

Matthew has also served in various positions such as Network Facilitator, Project Officer, National Convener, and Secretary at organizations like Zero Waste Network Australia, Migrant Resource Centre, and Community Recycling Network Australia.

Furthermore, he has been involved in initiatives focusing on social enterprise, cooperative innovation, and sustainable practices, evident from his roles as Course Coordinator for Social Enterprise and Cooperative Innovation at University of Newcastle and Social Enterprise Officer at Quidan Kaisahan.
