Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an experienced Consultant Technical Architect with a background in IT Services, Digital Strategies, and Business Transformations. He has worked in a variety of organizations ranging from startups and SMEs to blue chip businesses and public sector organizations. With a BA Hons degree in 3D Design, he brings a unique perspective to his work, balancing technology with creativity.

In his current role as Consultant Technical Architecture Lead for the Digital Studio at Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), he is responsible for shaping and driving strategic technology projects, business integrations, and application frameworks. He has also served as Consultant Enterprise Architect for Digital Strategy at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and has experience as a Front-end Architect, Information Architect, and Web Developer in various organizations.

Matt is skilled at maintaining productive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders while operating easily at executive levels with multi-disciplined teams. His keen analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills make him an effective executive bridge between the business and its technology. He has expertise in Front-end Architecture, Information Architecture, Web Application Development, and Enterprise Architecture and is focused on developing high performance and high availability web applications, services, and information management systems.
