Co-Founder CEO at Rack Performance
Matt Sellers is the Co-Founder and CEO of RackCoach, a company he founded in October 2013.13 He has a diverse background that includes coaching and financial advising. Sellers began his career as a Tight Ends Coach at Coffeyville Community College from 2006 to 2009.1 He then transitioned to the financial sector, working as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones from 2009 to 2013, followed by a brief stint at Waddell & Reed in the same role.13
In 2013, Sellers co-founded RackCoach, which later became known as Rack Performance.2 The company developed a web-based platform for weight room and group fitness management, designed to help coaches and trainers efficiently manage large teams during exercise sessions.2 As of 2017, the platform was being used by approximately 400 high school and college strength coaches across the United States, primarily in the Midwest, serving about 150,000 athletes.2
Sellers attended Kansas State University and Coffeyville Community College from 2002 to 2003.1 In 2018, he participated in the Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship as part of the 2018 Fellowship Class.13
Under Sellers' leadership, Rack Performance has secured significant funding. In 2017, the company raised a $300,000 seed investment from perceptiveEQUITY, bringing their total capital raised to over $550,000.2 This funding was intended to fuel the company's sales and development efforts, as well as improve their product offerings for coaches.2
