Matt Russell

Matt Russell is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Uppbeat, a role he has held since January 2021. He is based in Leeds, England, and has a background in photography and digital imaging, having graduated with a 2:1 degree in that field from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2010. His expertise lies in landscape and documentary photography, which he has applied throughout his career.1

Before founding Uppbeat, Matt co-founded Music Vine in September 2014, further establishing his presence in the creative industry. His earlier experience includes positions such as Production Manager and Technical Coordinator at Revolution Viewing, where he was responsible for managing workflows and ensuring quality assurance in digital production.1
