Matt Plitch

Matt Plitch is the Founder and CEO of FACE PLANT, a plant-based fast-food concept based in Portland, Oregon. He has been in this role since May 2021, leading a small team focused on developing a unique quick-service restaurant model that emphasizes competitive pricing and menu simplicity while catering to a growing demand for plant-based options.12

Prior to founding FACE PLANT, Plitch was the Founder and CEO of Neutral, a climate-friendly milk startup, from 2018 to 2021. Under his leadership, Neutral became known for being the world's first carbon-neutral food company, raising significant venture capital and establishing a supply chain with organic farms across the U.S..23 His experience also includes various roles at Nike, where he worked in product innovation and management, contributing to the development of footwear and analytics strategies.2

Plitch holds a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was the Student Body Co-President.2 His entrepreneurial approach combines a strong commitment to sustainability with innovative business strategies, positioning him as a notable figure in the food and climate sectors.
