Matt Moustakas

Matt Moustakas is an accomplished professional with a background in risk management and environmental health & safety (EH&S). He holds certifications as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Matt Moustakas has a strong academic foundation, having studied for a Master of Science degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Kansas.

With a wealth of experience in both industry and higher education, Matt Moustakas has held key positions in various organizations. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Risk Management at Texas Woman's University. Previously, he was the Interim Executive Director of Risk Management, Director of Environmental Health & Safety, and Senior EH&S Project Manager at the same institution.

Prior to his tenure at Texas Woman's University, Matt Moustakas worked in different capacities at renowned companies. He was the Corporate EH&S Manager at ASC Incorporated, an Environmental Specialist at Magna International, and a Project Scientist at MACTEC Engineering & Consulting (Previously LAW Environmental). He also served as an Assistant Project Manager at General Electric Plastics Division.

Matt Moustakas's expertise lies in effectively managing risk, handling EH&S issues, and consulting with organizations of varying sizes. His professional accomplishments highlight his proficiency in navigating complex EH&S landscapes and delivering impactful solutions.
