Matt Miller started his journey in the world of bikes at an early age, fixing and selling bicycles at his family's shop when he was just 10 years old. Transitioning from that, he dedicated years to striving to become a professional racer before pursuing higher education in exercise physiology. With a robust academic background, Matt holds a Ph.D. in Sport & Exercise Science from Massey University, an M.S. in Exercise Science, and a B.S. in Exercise Science, both from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Matt is the innovative mind behind BrakeAce, a device he invented to enhance riders' performance and enjoyment. His career has seen him play various roles, including founder at BrakeAce, human performance scientist at MTB PhD Limited, lecturer at Massey University, and research assistant at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he served as the human performance lab manager at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and played a key role as team co-founder & co-manager at Giant Bicycle, along with gaining valuable experience as a Sales and Service Specialist at Curt's Cyclery, Inc.
