Recruited back to Cunningham to lead the public relations effort surrounding Sun Microsystem’s’ 2002 JavaOne conference.  After the event I returned as a full time employee working on multiple aspects of the Sun account.

Employee number 11 at this data-center management startup funded by Greylock and North Bridge.  I got a place at one of the folding tables in the apartment-- later hires got the couch.

In 2002 the company was aquired by RedHat.  In 2008 most of the original code was opensourced as part of RedHat's Spacewalk project. The software is still ahead of its time.

TynanGroup is a real estate consulting firm.  During the mid 90s wireless boom we performed cellular tower site aquisition-- driving all over the country aquiring cellular sites for clients including Sprint, PrimeCo and AT&T Wireless.  I got my first taste of public affairs as we were often involved in contentious community relations efforts to get these sites approved.  First job out of college and a total blast!
