Matt McGowan is a highly accomplished executive with an international background and an impressive track record of success. He has worked with some of the world's top corporations and serves on the advisory board of CPA Ontario and the board of the Banf World Media Festival. Currently, he is the Director and General Manager of Snap Inc Canada, the parent company of Snapchat, Spectacles, and Bitmoji.

Matt has also served as the President and a member of the Board of Directors at Adestra, an enterprise martech Email Service Provider and Marketing Automation Platform. Matt's achievements there were notable, including the sale of the company to Upland Software for $61M+ USD and the development of go-to-market plans that grew the company's North American and APAC clients to 700+.

Matt believes in building strong and diverse teams to achieve success in business. He emphasizes operational excellence and strategic decision-making to achieve growth and prosperity. Matt's background in strategy, sales, marketing, customer support, and product development has enabled him to mentor, advise, invest, and serve on various boards.

Matt is a graduate of the University of Oxford's MBA program and holds investment banking certification from the New York Institute of Finance. He also earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics with Dean's List honors from Lafayette College. Additionally, he studied East European Studies at IES Abroad in Vienna, Austria, and attended Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York City for high school.
