Matt McClure

Matt McClure is a seasoned professional in the cannabis industry with extensive experience in project management, operations, staffing, recruitment, program development, brand development, brand management, fundraising, sponsorship, and partnership. With a BS in Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he started his career as a Registered Client Associate at Merrill Lynch's wealth management platform. Along with Leonard Hendricks, he founded an online platform for Vegas-based concierge services called NoWorryNights, which paved the way for his partnership with Jarrett Applewhite to create the brand marketing firm CollectiveZoo. Matt later joined the Operations Team at Downtown Project, founded by Tony Hsieh, where he managed a portfolio of over 300 businesses ranging from tech platforms to retail F&B, with a focus on revenue-generating operations. Since 2014, Matt has been involved in the successful operation of several legal cannabis ventures, leveraging his experience and knowledge in cultivation, extraction methodology, and brand building. Currently, he serves as the COO of Cultivate and is a former VP Operations at The Vape Summit and a Cannabis Consultant at McClure Consulting LLC.
