Matt Kluchenek is a distinguished attorney with an extensive background in derivatives. A Partner at Mayer Brown, he advises clients on enforcement, regulatory and transactional matters involving derivatives, provides counsel with respect to fintech initiatives, and helps clients launch hedge funds and trading programs. Matt's client portfolio includes exchanges, fund managers, trading advisers, proprietary trading firms, commodity pool operators, funds, banks, and corporate end-users.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Matt was a partner at Baker McKenzie, served as the general counsel of a large proprietary trading firm, and was an associate general counsel of CME Group, Inc. Matt was also the founder and owner of Mind's Eye Winery, LLC, an esteemed Napa Valley wine producer. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he teaches the course on Derivatives Law.
